Who do we work best with?
At Together We Can International (TWCI) our vibe very much attracts our tribe.
We are a disability support provider who knows what we are great at and stays in our lane in order to provide exceptional supports in that realm, rather than try to be all things to all people.
Our registration & onboarding process is designed to determine if we are the right provider of choice for you or your families support needs. It is important to us that we are the absolute best fit to support each participant on an individual basis towards achieving their NDIS goals.
Our activities and supports are in most cases aimed at participants that may not fit into traditional 'disability' boxes or stereotypes, they may not even see themselves or acknowledge having any disability at all.
The participants we support exceptionally well are often:
Completely disengaged at school or at home to the point of not wanting to leave their room or safe space
May often be referred to as 'high functioning" "mild ASD" "normal" or even just "naughty"
May be quite social but not seem to have any friends or friendship groups
Socially isolated due to not knowing how to develop and/or maintain friendships (other than online)
May have never engaged in any NDIS supports previously or tried once & didn't like it
Function exceptionally well in most aspects of their lives & are experts at masking!
Need support in a group environment, navigating friendships or appropriate behaviours in group scenarios
Will not engage in traditional therapy or with therapists
Capable & wanting open employment opportunities however labelled as supported employment only
Wanting to gain employment and struggling to navigate the DES or Employment Service arena
Needing support to maintain a current job
