Caudo Vineyard & Cellar Door
You haven’t truly seen the Riverland until you pay a visit to Caudo Vineyard.
Proudly family owned and run, this vineyard and cellar door is located on the banks of the River Murray, an oasis of green lawn, towering gum trees, historic buildings and breathtaking limestone cliffs.
Caudo Vineyard is a quintessentially Riverland experience.
Whether you’re drifting up to our lawns on a houseboat or arriving to us by car, the cellar door at Caudo Vineyard is a must visit. We boast the only cellar door in Australia which has access via a boat.
Situated perfectly on a bend in the river, the view is unmatched. But not only will you be captivated by the picturesque surroundings; you will be amazed by the range and the quality of what we have to offer.
You can sample the boutique varieties of wine available, both refreshing whites and full-bodied Mediterranean reds, local craft beer and craft cider.
However, many people know us for our summer inspired Sangria, flavoured with tropical fruits, citrus and creamy butterscotch. It’s the ideal drink for relaxing by the river.
If you’re feeling peckish, pair your wine with one of our famous tasting platters featuring some of the region’s stellar local produce. Wood fired pizzas are also available or feed a large crowd with our ‘cook your own’ tabletop barbecue.
If you’re overwhelmed by choice, our friendly and knowledgeable staff would be delighted to help you through the extensive wine tasting and dining options.
Not only are our staff well-versed in our business, they are passionate about our region and assisting travellers with suggestions of other local attractions to visit during their time in the Riverland.
When you visit Caudo Vineyard, you will get to see and take in the Riverland. But only by sampling our delicious local menu will you get to taste the Riverland.

Current owners Joe and Christine Caudo purchased the property more than 30 years ago as River retreat for friends and family. At that time, the fertile soil was abundant with citrus, table grapes, stone fruit and even some cereals.
However, the Riverland lifestyle, close community and pristine natural environment inspired the Caudos to share their slice of riverside utopia with the rest of the world.
This decision prompted plantings of multiple varieties of vines and citrus trees to create the 450 acre vineyard on the property today. The team at Caudo now harvest 100 per cent of the vineyard’s grapes to create quality, family-produced wine.
The vineyard’s Riverland location mean the culmination of sun, soil and moisture produce ideal conditions to grow our vines and produce premium quality wines. Caudo Vineyard is an acknowledged supplier of wines to local and overseas markets.
Today Caudo is a thriving hot spot for locals and tourists alike.
The magnificent setting, which patrons can access either by boat or road, combined with our award-winning wines and delicious food created with fresh local produce, make Caudo Vineyard the ideal place to pass another sun-drenched Riverland day.
