Burk Salter Wines
Burk Salter Wines was founded in 2002 by Greg and Jane Salter.
The name was derived using Greg’s fathers name – Burk Salter – who helped his father plant the first vines in the Paisley district of Blanchetown in 1933.
The Cellar Door opened in 2003 in a building that was once the old Mobil Service Station built by Burk and his wife Yvonne in the 1950’s.
A range of medal winning white and red wine is available for tasting.
The wines are produced using grapes sourced exclusively from the vines on the Salter family property.
